The Journey of Motherhood ? Life's Journey and Beyond

My journey of motherhood is quite challenging as it needs more patience and understanding, and yet fun. I love my children very much that I am willing to do whatever it takes to have more patience and determination of how to raise them to be a better person. In my entire life, I have never thought that I would be raising children until I get old, and not to mention with the four kids. Having that many kids quite a handful but also fulfilling.

It is indeed a full time job as you have to watch them 24/7 and make sure that they are okay, get everything they need and well fed. There are times that I get so mad at them especially when they do something bad, but I told myself that they are just kids who make mistakes just like adults. So I?ve tried really hard not to yell at them and talk to them calmly the best I could. I tried so hard to minimize our household schedule so we all could spend time together as a family and let the kids play during weekends. They deserve to enjoy themselves for they are still kids. And also I am taking the opportunity to enjoy with the children while they are still little. They are the reason why I become a SHAM and who always keep me so busy. A full time job that is.

Anyway, before when it was just the two of us, I used to think about work all the time as I was working full time-a real job. But now that we have the four kids, getting a job it never cross my mind just yet as I couldn?t afford to leave them behind. I just couldn?t simply get a job and worries about my children being left at home while the husband is at work. For sure I will be going back to work when the time is right and the children would be old enough that they would be able to take care of themselves. Right now I only think of how we would be able to raise them and give them a good life they deserve. I so love our wonderful children dearly. My family is my world. The love of my life!!!
